Find out how to volunteer as a Violence Reduction Navigator at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
These special people volunteer their time to provide help to young patients (aged 16-25ys), who are dealing with difficult issues. The volunteers are based in the hospital. They provide support to help young people deal with complex issues such as mental health problems, poor selfcare, poor diet, substance misuse and sometimes violence.
The project is run by Connection Support who offer full training for the role.
