Education Safeguarding Advisory Team (ESAT)

Who are we?

 The role of ESAT is to support all educational settings in Oxfordshire with their safeguarding practice and policies as follows:

• Delivery of Safeguarding, Lead Trainer and Safer Recruitment training and themed 7 minute briefings
• Support for schools through School Safeguarding advisory reviews
• Safeguarding forums to support and share practice
• Support for schools with risk assessments of students and sites
• Collection and collation of the Section 175/157 report
• The team provide advice and support to educational settings to embed their safeguarding practices
