Reminder: core safeguarding training

‘It has been a year since the OSCB transferred all their core safeguarding training courses into a virtual delivery model; both eLearning and trainer led webinars.

Training delegates should be reminded that eLearning certificates for Level 2 and Level 3 safeguarding courses are only valid for 1 year and must be followed by attendance at a live, trainer led webinar.

Completion of the webinar training will then extend certificates for the ‘Level 2: generalist safeguarding’ course for a further 2 years and the ‘Level 3: Designated Safeguarding Lead’ course for a further year.’
