One of the actions from the Serious Case Review on Child Q (2017) was the development of multi-agency chronologies (MAC’s) to better understand the lived experience of the children and families we are working with.
A number of subsequent local reviews have promoted the use of chronologies as a vital tool, noting they should be used routinely across all agencies and quality assured through audit.
The MAC delegation portal was launched in Feb 21, allowing all agencies working with a family to share their chronology via a secure online platform. OSCB are seeking feedback on practitioner’s experiences of contributing to the multi-agency chronology and using the MAC portal.
