Oxfordshire Early Help offer to families – “Nothing about you, without you”
Oxfordshire Safeguarding partners have worked to identify examples of good early help practice as well as challenges.
There is good multiagency early help work. There is also more that can be done to ensure that all children and their families have access to timely early help support as soon as a problem/difficulty emerges. This includes identifying neglect and supporting those parents who are not currently meeting the needs of their children.
There is a new early help assessment form. This follows consultation with partners and parents and is to be known as the ‘Strengths and Needs’ form.
The revised forms, guidance documents and updated Early Help Strategy can be found on the OSCB website.
