Last few places remaining for OSCB child exploitation learning event – Thursday 30 June 2022

Date: Wednesday, 22nd Jun 2022 | Category: General

There are still a few free places remaining for professionals to attend the OSCB child exploitation learning event on Thursday the 30th June from 2-4pm.

Following on from our webinar on the 27th January, this event will update practitioners on progress made on the recommendations from the CSPR for Jacob, and the workstreams leading on those actions.

It will include presentations by

  • Thames Valley on prevalence and partnership working to police exploitation in Oxfordshire
  • Oxfordshire CAMHS and Youth Justice and Exploitation Service on the review of the pathway and screening tool
  • Children’s Social Care re how we rethink our approach to escalation and sharing concerns

Attendees will also hear about the new Targeted Youth Support Service, Peer Review Pilot in Banbury schools and Child Exploitation Practical Guide for schools.

This is an opportunity for local practitioners to be kept up to date with new developments and next steps.
