Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse 2022 – final report published

Date: Monday, 31st Oct 2022 | Category: General

October 2022 saw the publication of the final report of the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA).

The Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA) in England and Wales was set up in 2015 following serious concerns that multiple organisations had failed and were continuing to fail to protect children in their care from sexual abuse.
The final report is the culmination of seven years of work, and draws on evidence from public hearings, the Inquiry’s research programme, and submissions to the ‘Truth Project’ from people who were sexually abused as children.

The NSPCC has produced a summary which also includes a link to the full report.
