Resources for education settings to identify and respond to concerns of child sexual abuse

Date: Monday, 05th Dec 2022 | Category: General

We are really pleased to see that the Centre of Expertise on Child Sexual Abuse (CSA Centre) has created resources for education settings. They can be used by practitioners to help identify and respond to concerns of child sexual abuse.

A number of reviews of child safeguarding practice in Oxfordshire have highlighted that all parts of the safeguarding system could benefit from more guidance. Please take a look.

The resources include guidance on communicating with children, parents and carers as well as a safety planning in education guide on harmful sexual behaviour.
