This is an exciting opportunity for a member of Oxfordshire’s community to join our safeguarding children partnership. The Board has some big safeguarding issues to tackle: neglect, child exploitation and keeping children safe in education. As a partnership we are committed to keeping children at the centre of our work and are looking for a leader that will help us to do this as we improve our practice.
There are two Community Board Members. The new appointee will be supported in their role by their counterpart and the OSCB Business Unit. Our current Community Board Member has told us: ‘I always feel that the Board members take my contributions seriously and really value the role played by Community Board members’.
