Justice in Motion Streaming BOUND for Anti-Slavery Day 18/10

Date: Tuesday, 20th Oct 2020 | Category: General

Justice in Motion is an Oxford based Physical Theatre Company, that raises awareness about social injustice through a dynamic fusion of dance, storytelling, contemporary circus, music & multimedia.

To mark Anti-Slavery Day they will be streaming their production of BOUND, on Facebook and YouTube, until the 25th of October. Inspired by true accounts of human trafficking, BOUND tells a compelling and thought-provoking tale.

Justice in Motion have also been working with anthropologist Dr. Bronwyn Tarr, on their latest creative project exploring loneliness and belonging. We talked with members of the Archway Foundation (a charity supporting those who suffer loneliness) who shared their experiences of loneliness. Out of these seeds of inspiration have come evocative dance pieces. Captured on film, the original participants now have ‘video gifts’ of their words. The company are releasing one new Video Gift a day during October. The full collection can be seen on either the dedicated Instagram page just for the project gallery, as well as their YouTube Channel and Website.
