Procedures Subgroup
The role of the Procedures Subgroup is to:-
- Review procedures every 6 months.
- Ensure procedures are fit for purpose.
- Review procedures against new Government guidance and write updates to ensure OSCB procedures are current.
- To review SCR’s for any procedural impact and update as necessary
- To update procedures as directed by SCR recommendations.
- To review procedures against guidance and recommendations from OSCB Board members and changing practice.
The OSCB took the decision some time ago that the procedures would only be available online and hard copies would not be printed. This enables a quicker response to changes in local practice or Government guidance.
Practitioners can print off sections of the procedures but they must be aware that the procedures are updated every 6 months and that the versions they print off have a limited shelf life.
