Communications & Engagement Group

The Safeguarding Board has a responsibility to ensure it engages effectively with children, families, frontline practitioners and the communities of Oxfordshire to ensure that everyone knows safeguarding is their business and so that the opinions and voices of all can be taken into account when the Board monitors and drives the work in relation to safeguarding forward. To this end it is working towards ensuring that children and young people are linked into its work on an ongoing basis.

Some of the ways the Board does this are:

  • supporting competitions and conferences for children and young people
  • resources/leaflets for practitioners and children, young people and their families
  • eliciting feedback on specific issues or themes from children and young people and their families
  • The board is always eager to hear what individuals have to say about safeguarding / child protection activities in Oxfordshire.

Please let us know your thoughts they will be kept anonymous and are always listened to. You can fill out an anonymous feedback form by following this link.
