Subgroups
The OSCB has established sub-groups to develop the work of the Board.
The overall business of the Board will be driven and monitored through an Executive Group.
The other subgroups are based on the functions of the board:
- Policy & Procedures
- Training
- Communications
- Monitoring and Evaluation
- Child Death Overview Panel
Task and finish groups will be established to address specific short term issues, ie online safety. All these groups will be chaired by a member of the OSCB.
There will also be three multi-agency local Safeguarding Groups, North, City and South.
Any professional can become a member of their local safeguarding group, the function of these groups is to act as a link between the board and front line practitioners and vice versa.
